As we welcome 2025, we reflect on the incredible success of our 4th Annual Operation 252 Shoe Giveaway held on Saturday, December 21, 2024. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering support and generosity of our community, who made this milestone possible.
Thanks to our phenomenal supporters—including members of the Divine 9, family, and friends from North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, and beyond—we achieved something truly remarkable this year:
Together, we delivered not just shoes but hope and kindness, making this holiday season unforgettable for so many in need.
On Giving Tuesday 2024, your generosity surpassed all expectations! With my personal donation match, we collectively raised over $1,000 in just one day. Your contributions ensured that even more children benefited from this initiative, showcasing the power of community and compassion.
As we look ahead, we’re already planning the 5th Annual Operation 252 Shoe Giveaway and brainstorming new ways to expand our impact. Stay tuned for updates, volunteer opportunities, and donation drives in 2025.
Your continued support fuels our mission to make a difference in the lives of children and families in need. Here’s how you can stay involved:

Only 54% of Americans know CPR. 1 in 6 people do not know that chest compressions can help to save a life in a moment of cardiac arrest. About half know little to nothing about their personal heart health. Americans need to be more knowledgeable about their health, as there are not many people, less than half (49%), who know little to nothing about heart health or first aid. There is a need for early education. Studies show that Millennials are falling behind on their knowledge of basic first aid skills and heart health.
Part of our commitment to address the needs of the community is general health improvement. Operation 252 Health will help the community become self-confident, self-directed, and successful in a healthy educational experience.
