One of the best things that you can do as a young person growing up is to be right here where you are right now.

I'm talking about the youth; the young people ushering, the young fellow back there helping people at the door, the youth helping collect the offering, the youth serving in different capacities, the youth reading Scripture, presiding, and leading prayer. That's one of the best things you can do as a young person. Let me tell you why.

When you go through difficult seasons in life, as Coach Dupree discussed, you'll have that constant tap on your shoulder. That tap is symbolic. It serves as a reminder of these days right here where you are, standing in this choir stand, ushering, serving, and saying yes when the church asks you to serve.

Those are the seeds that Coach was discussion. That's why Coach was able to overcome his obstacles. That's why he was able to make it through the challenge times. Like when he had just $10 to his name, he received a message saying that a current NBA player wanted Coach to lead him through some workouts, but Coach would have to travel to Atlanta. He knew this could be the opportunity of a lifetime; it was something that could change his life. So, he stepped out on faith to take the trip to Atlanta to work with a potential new client. He had had that constant tap on his shoulder as a reminder of who Jesus was as a Waymaker, Provider, Promise Keeper, Light in the Darkness, and so much more. It was a reminder that, "I am still here.” Because of this belief, Coach Dupree was able to get to ATL, lock in a new client and has become a noteworthy individual in athletics.
